Licking Things workshop: Looking for Fulfilment through Music and Movement
The Licking Things workshop looks for fulfilment through music and movement. The aim of the course is to explore the relationship between music and movement through motion-based exercises performed alone and in a group. Motion is used to seek a profound, comprehensive sense of presence and perception.
The instructors of the workshop are choreographer Sari Palmgren and musician/composers Mikko Perkola and Tuomas Norvio. The course includes movement-based activities performed to live music and an introduction to choreography and performance production. The course proceeds in step with the preparation of Sari Palmgren's upcoming performance Licking Things (premiere 9 November). Students participate in the preparations of the performance, and are allowed to watch the rehearsals.

Tuomas Norvio ehdolla äänisäde palkinnon saajaksi teoksesta Mortal road movie

Mortal road movie-Kajaani
If you realize your own mortality, you can live more fully now
Mortal road movie - Second rehearsal period has started in Kajaani. Premiere is going to be 3.5.2014 at Generaattori, Kajaani. Mortal road movie is a multi-year journey to mortality in different continents and cities.
The work involves local people in the planning of the work through workshops, meetings and interviews. Mortal Road Movie is based on these meetings, the performers relationship to mortality, road trip video and movement. Mortal road movie is co-operation with Routa dance company.
